Lifesite News reported that an Ontario high school student tore down a rainbow “pride” flag amid growing protests against the celebration of “pride month” in Canadian schools.
On June 6, students at Sir Frederick Banting high school, in London, Ontario, cheered as a male student tore the “pride” flag from the school’s flag pole, according to a video obtained by the London Free Press.
Local media, politicians, and school officials denounced the students’ act of protest and doubled down in support of LGBT ideology.
London Mayor Josh Morgan tweeted, “This is unacceptable and extremely upsetting, especially for members of our LGBTQ2S+ community.”
Mark Fisher, education director for the Thames Valley District school board, told the London Free Press, “I want the community to know that flag was replaced immediately upon destruction, and this was an act motivated by a small group of individuals and should not be associated with any larger groups in the community.”
“Those students will be investigated by the principal in conjunction with the superintendent and appropriate consequences will be levied,” he added. “That is just no acceptable behaviour in any way in any one of our schools.”
The act by the student in question is one of chivalry and should be highly commended in a sane society. Despite the virulent opposition to the noble act, he or she still went ahead to swim against the current in sending the flag to where it rightfully belongs – the trash can.
Why should the LGBTQ agenda be forced down the throats of impressionable students under the guise of a ‘pride’ march? Where is the sense of right and wrong from adults that should know better simply because the politicians have so politicized everything and don’t want to offend powerful donors so as not to risk losing their plum jobs in the next elections? That is the zenith of perfidy and apotheosis of selfishness!
Students have the right to stand up for their fundamental human right – the right to public decency and no so-called ‘pride’ march should prevent them from boldly demanding it.
If these Canadian politicians can be so cruel as to force their students to partake in an act of organized sin and public indecency, think of the fate of African students! For some time now, the liberal West has been trying so hard to futilely export their nauseating homosexuality agenda to Africa using the school curriculum as a surreptitious point of contact. African leaders should beware of the so-called aid and grants from liberal nations like Canada as they always come with terrible strings attached since there is no free lunch not even in Freetown.
Educational materials coming in from Canada to Africa should be thoroughly scrutinized so that the mental health of the next generation of Africans isn’t adversely compromised. This is also a warning to African parents who want to relocate there with their children. They should watch what their wards and offspring consume intellectually in schools as Canada’s liberal nature could be at variance with the rich conservative African cultural heritage.
Once again, a big thumbs up to the brave Canadian student and his or her horde of supporters! There is indeed hope for the next Canadian generation.
