PHD School Club of Excellence (PHDSCE)
The level of moral decadence in our country today is worrisome. Our revered and cherished family values have been eroded through misinformation. The main victim of this circumstance is our youth. There is growing promiscuity among our youth, exposing them to the grave danger of incurable and debilitating sexually transmitted diseases and the dreaded HIV. HIV/AIDS, Hypertension and Type B Diabetes are the three known silent killer diseases, but HIV/AIDS no longer makes news media headlines as before.Â
The PHD runs PHD SCHOOL CLUBS OF EXCELLENCE (PHDSCE) in 15 secondary schools in Lagos and Anambra States, to help form members into young men and women of competence, conscience and compassion. Character-Based Abstinence Education (CBAE) Program by PHD
This training guide is intended for the training of PHD School Club of Excellence (PHDSCE) Coordinators who will, in turn, be expected to take up the challenge to educate PHDSCE members.
The program is designed for 10 to 16 year old boys and girls in our rural secondary schools, whose poor use of English has made it necessary to simplify the expressions used in order to aid comprehension and their overall development.
This training guide is intended for the training of PHD School Club of Excellence (PHDSCE) Coordinators who will, in turn, be expected to take up the challenge to educate PHDSCE members.
